Electrical Voltage

Electricity consists of 1 atom. This atom is very small in size inside the atom is formed from electrons. In this atom consists of protons and neutrons. Atoms move as fast as lightning its speed is 300,000km / s If we know that electricity is like not moving because of its speed and is equal to the speed of light. Electricity flows from positive pole to negative pole. Like water flowing from a high source to a lower source, electricity can only flow through the conductor because there are electrons in the conductor, these electrons can make electricity flow. electricity can flow and the grouping of electrical conductivity, namely: conductors are very strong and good conductors of electricity in conducting electricity, these conductors consist of iron, steel, copper, gold and others, the second is semi-conductor, which is a conductor that can conduct electricity but is weak type It is not used to distribute electricity, including aluminum. and insulators are materials that cannot conduct electric current.

Electricity plays a vital role in life. It can be said that electricity has become the main energy source in every activity both in households and industry. From kitchen utensils to machines in large factories and even airplanes, everything requires electricity.

Generally, electricity is obtained from converting kinetic energy through a generator into electricity. The kinetic energy to drive a generator can be obtained from steam produced from the combustion of fossil energy sources, such as oil, coal and gas or it can be from water flow or from air flow. The point is that electrical energy is generated from converting other energy sources.

Energy sources for electricity have advantages and disadvantages. Fossil energy sources are easy to obtain but have limited reserves. While the energy sources of water or wind flow are relatively clean, they are limitless but not always there.
There are many sources of energy sources in Indonesia that have been used:

WATER Many power plants use water sources. to run a generator or many waterwheels that are used for electrical power. because water has a high pressure, the higher the water pressure or the water discharge, the higher the energy produced. and this is called the WATER POWER PLANT.
Steam Power Plant when viewed from the raw materials to produce it, Steam Power Plant can be said to be a generator made from water as raw material. Why not Steam? The steam here only powers the turbine, while to produce a certain amount of steam, water is needed. Interestingly, in the PLTU, there is a continuous and repetitive process. The process is between water to steam then steam back into water and so on. At first the water is collected in a cooking pot and then given heat from the fire wick that burns underneath. The result of combustion causes water to continue to increase in temperature up to its boiling point limit. As combustion continues, the boiled water exceeds its boiling point until hot steam forms. This steam is used to turn turbines and generators which will produce electrical energy.
Tidal Tides. Tides move large amounts of water every day; and its utilization can produce energy in large enough quantities. the electricity supply is relatively more reliable than the wave-powered power plants. There are many more sources of power that can be used. from those around us to those we don’t know.
